Snapchat is a "read-it-and-burn-it" photo sharing application developed by two Stanford University students.

In an "over-sharing" society, there is no need to keep all information. Users need to forget and delete the past as they record it, just as there is always an unpleasant, embarrassing and not-so-good side to normal life. Snapchat's ambition to create a next-generation social platform is also gradually being revealed in some of its new features, such as the Stories feature, which is very similar to Facebook's stream, meaning that users can share photos not just to individuals, but also into their own Stories for public viewing by friends, which can also stay in Stories for up to 24 hours before disappearing.

Snap is an app for augmented reality. It lets you take pictures of objects and it will show you how to make them in 3D. For example, if you took a picture of a flower, it would let you know what kinds of flowers it looks like and where they are typically found. If you took a picture of a bird, it would show you other birds that are similar to it and the names for different kinds of features on the bird. Snap has a lost of new features. You can also record you video's in snap. It also has a multiplayer feature. You can see what your friends see and you can see eachothers' snaps. It's set up like a chat room and it shows you information like the username, who else is around, and what they are doing in their snaps. Snap also has a party feature with it. Every now and then there will be a event called 'snap back'.
