Microsoft Edge (ME Browser) is a web browser developed by Microsoft based on the Chromium open source project and other open source software.

Features

Some of the feature details of Edge browser include: support for built-in Cortana (Microsoft Nana) voice function; built-in reader (can open PDF files), notes and sharing features; design focus on practicality and minimalism; rendering engine is called EdgeHTML.

Usage Tips

No need to go to a website to search for cute penguin images. Stay in place and save time by entering your search in the convenient address bar. You get search suggestions, results from the Web, your browsing history, and favorites right on the spot.

Think of the Center as the place where Microsoft Edge stores the content you save and the actions you perform on the Web. Select Center to view your favorites, reading list, browsing history, and current downloads.

Microsoft Edge is a browser that lets you take notes, write, scribble and highlight directly on the Web. The Web is the palette of your life - add a few secret spices to recipes right on the screen to share with your amateur chef buddies, collaborate with your colleagues on new projects, or have fun with your kids.

Editor Review

As of July 2017, Google Chrome is the most popular browser with a massive 34.46% usage share. This is understandable as Chrome has won over many hearts and minds with its seamless user interface and quick load times, not to mention it offers a multitude of extensions. The trouble comes when you want to browse on a different operating system, such as Windows or MacOS, for example. That's where alternative browsers come in handy. The all new Edge browser is great, I can not stop using it! If you are an avid browser, chances are you have already heard about the newest Microsoft browser, Edge. It is similar to Google Chrome in some ways, but very different in others. It is not as fast as Chrome or Firefox, but it has a certain kind of speed that can be best described as "smooth." Of course, if you have never used it before it might be difficult to tell what I am using. With its new Tabbed interface for managing your tabs and history, this browser is definitely worth giving a shot. All of its features can be found on the tabs at the top of your screen. The best thing about this browser is how it manages your history, bookmarks and favorites. Everything is in one place, so you never have to worry about hunting around for where your bookmarks are or trying to remember which site you were looking at or how many times you have visited the page before. These features take some getting used to but they can also be immensely helpful in time saving. Overhauled but familiar interface. Again, its key feature that will probably draw people in is its overhauled interface.
