Google Maps is an electronic mapping service provided by Google Inc. that includes locally detailed satellite photos. The service provides vector maps with global city regions and traffic and business information, satellite photos in different resolutions, and topographic and contour views that can be used to display terrain.

Features

Google's goal for Maps is not just a map, but a "real-world search engine".

Usage Tips

In the Fly To input box in the Search panel, enter a latitude and longitude, press Enter, and you can directly "fly" to that location. The animation effect used in the process gives us a wonderful feeling of traveling the earth.

See highlighted city boundaries, zip codes, and more when searching. Use location logs to see where you've been by date. Optimize the public transit information layer and add the ability to browse by transportation mode.

Editor Review

I'm sure you can't think of it anymore. In today's era of mobile internet, getting lost is a long time coming. Even if you're traveling to an unfamiliar country, you don't need a local to guide you once you get off the plane - today all you need is Google Maps and you can follow navigation tips to your destination. The mass adoption of navigation and mapping technology has dramatically changed the way people find their way around, and people are now naturally using maps to find hotels, restaurants, schools, wherever they want to find them. Indeed, for users, whether it's planning the best route to go out or finding a real-time street view of a tourist attraction, Google Maps has always met their needs, providing not only landmarks, topographic maps and satellite photos, but also a "Street View feature" that allows users to identify locations from ground images, mark their favorite places and create their own map of life. To enhance the user experience, Google has simplified the original 18 APIs of Maps into three categories: "Maps", "Routes", and "Places". This integration not only makes the operation more convenient, but also allows enterprise development teams to better connect the Maps API with existing services to provide more optimized products and create more business opportunities.
