Google Calendar is a free online calendar service provided by Google. It allows you to create, manage, and share events and appointments with others.
Creating events: To create a new event, click on the "+ Create" button or click on a specific date and time in the calendar. Fill in the event details, such as the title, location, date, time, and duration. You can also set reminders, invite guests, and choose whether the event is private or public.
Editing events: To edit an existing event, click on the event in your calendar and select "Edit event." You can then modify the details, add or remove guests, and update the event settings.
Recurring events: If you have an event that occurs regularly, such as a weekly meeting, you can set it to repeat automatically. In the event creation or editing window, click on "Does not repeat" and choose the appropriate recurrence option.
Adding other calendars: Google Calendar allows you to add public calendars, such as holidays or sports events, or other people's calendars if they have shared them with you. Click on the "+" sign next to "Other calendars" and choose the relevant option.
Notifications and reminders: Google Calendar can send you notifications and reminders for events via email or push notifications on your mobile device. You can customize these settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top-right corner and selecting "Settings."
Syncing with mobile devices: To access your Google Calendar on your mobile device, download the Google Calendar app for Android or iOS and sign in with your Google account. Your events and appointments will automatically sync between the web version and your mobile device.
